Our story
In the words of Rihanna, Madison and Jacob found love in a hopeless place (online dating). While they may cheer for different football teams, the young and very happy couple found out that they wanted to share their lives with each other very quickly. Jacob and Madison look forward to sharing a lifetime of happiness together as they finish their advanced degrees and navigate the housing market.
October 24, 2025
First time we met
Madison texted Jacob first on October 17th of 2025 while Jacob was hosting his brother’s Bachelor Party. He texted back the next morning at 3am. She left him on read until the following Wednesday. It was a very Gen Z way of starting the relationship…
The young couple met at Main Event that fateful Friday and it was love at first sight. They played the Mario Kart and Halo arcade games before grabbing drinks and nachos at the bar while they discussed all of their dealbreaker questions. The 90 minute date turned into 4 hours and 2 texts to both sets of moms to make sure their boopsies weren’t dead in a ditch.
November 10th, 2025
We put a label on it
Both Madison and Jacob paused all of their dating profiles the night of the first date. After more dates to Stockyard, Wing Monday and Main Event (again), Jacob asked Madison if she wanted to put a label on it. She was open to the idea, but it wouldn’t be until one week afterwards that the happy couple would be official. Coincidentally, this would be during their second Wing Monday dinner date. Turns out wing dinners can be romantic.
June 19th, 2026
She said "Yes"
Madison and Jacob started talking about marriage early 2026. The two shared very similar interests, passions and vision for how they wanted to share life together. Both found out very quickly the meaning of “when you know, you know”. He asked for her parents’ blessing in April and got to work.
On June 19th, 2026, Jacob took Madison to “watch turtle hatchings” on Honeymoon Island. After “finding some turtles in the mangroves”, he asked an important question to Madison. She said yes (which avoided a very awkward car ride back home). They closed down the Frenchy’s on the causeway with their parents immediately after pictures. Jacob and Madison still have yet to see actual turtles.
October 22, 2027
We're getting married
The happy couple set the date for October 22, 2027! They will be getting married in the beautiful Tampa Bay area surrounded by loved family and friends.
When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible
